The T-10 Class Association announces a new annual award and trophy for boats that travel to compete in multiple sanctioned regattas in a single season. The NOR for this new competition can be found HERE. The class will be procuring a trophy that will be awarded to the winner of the competition each season, and it will probably not look the America’s Cup Trophy pictured above.

Mainsail Material Survey Response
At the Summer 2021 and Winter 2022 class meetings various members expressed interest in exploring an update to the class rules that would allow mainsail materials other than woven ply of polyester. A survey of class voting members was recently conducted to gauge interest in the class on pursuing this topic further. The results of that survey are shown below, along with the information that was presented to voting members. The board will consider whether to pursue this topic further and the results of those consideration
Bylaws Updated
The T-10 Class Association Board of Directors have approved updates to the Class Association Bylaws. The updated bylaws can be viewed HERE. These updates cover the following areas:
Reflect that most class communications take place via email instead of mailings.
Remove references to membership certificates and the Seal of the Association.
Separate the roles of Class Secretary and Newsletter Editor.
Eliminate the position of the National Fleet Captain.
Rename Regional Vice Presidents to Regional Fleet Captain.
Eliminate the requirement to keep class records at the registered office.
Updated pronouns to gender-neutral.
